Colic baby at the Worth house!


Well, we've had some excitement here! Today I took Claire to the Dr's for her first diaper rash and it was quite the event. She fought me getting into her car seat and then screamed the entire time Dr. Sarah was looking at her. Claire was diagnosed with colic and she also has a blocked tear duct. She has been screaming all afternoon for the past week. We were also prescribed a special antibiotic ointment for her rash so hopefully that clears up fast!

Good news is that she is up to 8lbs 2.5 oz so she is gaining weight just fine! She isn't chubby yet but I'm sure we'll have a chubby baby in no time with the appetite she has! We are still breast feeding and that is getting better and better every day. She is usually sleeping 5 hours before waking up at night so I am not feeling too sleep deprived, yet. Claire is starting to make eye contact and Rich thought she was smiling at him (but I think it really was gas but SHHHHHH!).

I hope everyone is doing well! Being a parent is hard work but we are loving it.
