9 days and counting.........
....until the estimated due date of the baby's arrival. This does mean that a stubborn baby will be in there at least another week after that!!!! I feel pretty good but things are starting to get difficult. I can no longer pick things up well, sleep well, and am getting anxious to meet this little person. I honestly think Rich is getting more impatient than I. He text messaged me the other day to tell the baby that is is time to come out. Too cute. We finished all of our preparing for childbirth classes and Rich took an Infant CPR class.
The baby's things are all set. Bags are in the car, car seat is installed, house is clean, and yard work started. Maybe we need to undo some of these things and then labor will start? That has been the advice of my co-workers!
Other than baby news, not too much is happening. Rich's brother, Dan, is in Iraq somewhere and we haven't heard from him since he left in March. Dan is the only one that possibly knows the sex of the baby. For our ultrasound we had the gal write down in a card the sex and we sealed it up nicely with packaging tape. We didn't open it and when Dan was here we had him take it with him because we knew it would be hard to contact him when the baby actually comes. Has he opened it already I wonder? He has been told that he will be overseas at least until July or longer :( Please pray that he stays safe.
Congratulations goes out to friends Heather and Jason who welcomed their little boy, Andrew, on Friday April 13th. He is adorable and a full head of hair. Mom is doing great!
Friends Jacki and Jason welcomed a beautiful little girl on Tuesday April 17th. Her name is Katelyn. Mom and baby are both doing well.
We are very excited for all and can't wait to share our news soon!
